The January Denver real estate numbers are in and over 1.2 billion dollars closed in the metro area. The inventory of available homes for sale was 5262 homes at January’s month end. Within the same timeframe, 4502 homes came onto the market and 3545 homes went under contract. The number of homes closed was 2708 at a median sold price of $391,426 and an average sold price of $451,783.
In regards to how the market is looking at the start of the new year, there is always a transition in the January Metro Denver home market as Sellers are bringing homes onto the market and Buyers are ready to buy. 2019 overall will be a Seller’s and/or Buyer’s market… the Metro Denver home market will be beneficial to all.
